Ändern supports the work surface from one column at the center instead of placing legs at both outer edges. The result is a compact, visually light desk that leaves the surrounding room feeling open. Its pneumatic mechanism needs no motor, control pad, or nearby outlet.
Balanced for a consistent, lighter setup
The gas spring is calibrated for a 70 lb total setup weight, including the surface and equipment. Choose the 24 × 40 in surface for the greatest equipment allowance, or the 30 × 48 in surface when additional work area matters more.
Ändern or Lüften?
Both are center-mounted pneumatic desks with the same 27.75–45.25 in height range and under-three-second movement. Ändern is the compact mono-column choice. Lüften uses two center columns for a larger 30 × 60 in workspace and a heavier fixed setup.

Ändern moves through a 27.75–45.25 in height range and supports either a 24 × 40 in or 30 × 48 in work surface. The pneumatic setting is fixed at 70 lb total setup weight.
With the 24 × 40 in laminate surface, approximately 40 lb remains for equipment. The 30 × 48 in surface leaves approximately 20 lb. These operating allowances are separate from the frame’s 200 lb structural load capacity.

Which work-surface size should I choose?
The 24 × 40 in laminate surface leaves approximately 40 lb for equipment. The 30 × 48 in surface provides more work area and leaves approximately 20 lb. Equipment weights vary, so check your monitors, computer, arms, and accessories if the setup is near the allowance.
What is Lüften, and when is it the better fit?
Lüften is the larger member of the same center-mounted pneumatic family. It uses two columns, a 30 × 60 in surface, and a 100 lb fixed total setup setting. Choose it when you need a larger surface or a heavier workspace than Ändern is designed to support.
