The Standing Desk LLC is a Michigan limited liability company trading as The Standing Desk. Our address is 2851 Buchanan Ave SW, Suite A, Grand Rapids, MI 49548-1025, USA.

Information needed to fulfill and support your order.
When you order, we collect your name, contact details, billing and shipping addresses, selected products and configuration, payment status and order history. Checkout is for guests; customer account registration is not offered.
Payment providers process payment details. We receive transaction records needed to manage orders, refunds and disputes, including payment status and limited payment-method information. We do not store your full card number. Providers include Stripe, PayPal and Affirm when offered at checkout. Financing applications and lending decisions are handled by Affirm under its own terms and privacy policy.
When you contact us, we receive the details, messages and files you provide. Please avoid including full card details or information that is unnecessary for your request.
We use this information to process payments, produce and deliver orders, send order updates, answer questions, handle returns and warranty claims, prevent fraud and maintain business records.

Essential store features and optional interactive reviews.
Technical information can include your IP address, browser and device information, requested pages and security-related activity. Cookies and browser storage support the cart, checkout, configuration and saved privacy preferences.
Yotpo provides reviews and ratings; its widgets can also collect browsing and interaction information through cookies and a pixel to measure engagement. Payment providers may collect device and technical information to operate their payment features and help prevent fraud.
Interactive Yotpo reviews load after an affirmative choice allowing statistics and marketing cookies. They remain off when a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track browser signal is detected. You can change your choices through Cookie preferences. Withdrawing optional-cookie consent reloads an already-loaded review page to stop the widget; it does not undo information already sent.
When you submit a review, the review and information you choose to include may be displayed publicly. Please avoid including private contact or payment information in reviews.
The Standing Desk Timer saves session history in your browser’s local storage. Its timer code does not send that session history to us. Clearing the browser data removes the stored history.

Service providers and our production partner.
- Payment providers receive information needed to process your selected payment or financing application and support payment security.
- Delivery partners receive information needed to deliver and track your order.
- Our parent company, Kessebohmer Ergonomics, receives your order number, first and last name, and the items to be produced through its production management system. It uses these details only for production, fulfillment and order support.
- Yotpo receives customer and order information for review invitations, and provides the review display and measurement features described above.
- SendGrid delivers order and support email sent through the site.
- Hosting and site-support providers process information to operate and maintain the website.
We may disclose information when required by law or to address fraud, security issues or legal claims. We do not sell personal information for money.

Change cookie choices or contact us about your information.
Use Opt-out preferences to review the site’s cookie information and change your optional cookie choices. Browser settings can also block or delete cookies and local storage, although blocking essential storage can prevent the cart and other features from working.
You can ask to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of personal information by contacting support. Include enough information for us to locate your records. We may verify your identity and retain information required for legal, security or transaction purposes. We do not need your full payment-card number to handle a privacy request.
Depending on applicable law, you may also have rights to opt out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising and to appeal a request decision. Contact support with “Privacy appeal” to ask us to reconsider a response. We will explain any denial and available next steps. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.
If you receive marketing email from us, you can unsubscribe through its unsubscribe link or by contacting support. Unsubscribing does not stop necessary order, delivery or support communications. We do not send marketing text messages.

Retention depends on the record and its purpose.
We retain records for order fulfillment, warranty service, business recordkeeping, fraud prevention and resolving requests. Retention depends on the type of record and applicable obligations. Records may remain while a dispute, claim or legal obligation is unresolved.
Our order and support systems do not currently apply a single fixed automatic deletion period across all records. Contact support to request deletion; some information may need to be retained for the purposes described above.

Contact us with concerns about your information.
We use safeguards appropriate to the information we handle, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. The store serves the United States and is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and address it.
We may update this policy as our practices change and will identify the effective date. Where required, we will provide further notice or obtain consent before materially different uses of information.
