Lüften’s two lift columns sit together at the center of the desk rather than at its outer edges. That placement keeps the support visually tucked beneath the 30 × 60 in surface, creating the floating look while sharing the work of a heavier setup. The movement remains direct and mechanical, with no motor or desk power cord.
Why two columns instead of one?
Ändern is our compact, center-mounted pneumatic desk. It uses one column, a lighter 70 lb fixed total setup setting, and either a 24 × 40 in or 30 × 48 in surface. Lüften is the larger alternative: two center-mounted columns, a 100 lb setting, and a 30 × 60 in surface for a heavier workspace.

The support stays concentrated beneath the center instead of framing the work surface at its outer edges. From the room, Lüften reads as a clean plane with open space around it. Pneumatic movement comes from gas-spring assistance and your hand, so there is no desk power cord to route.

Lüften pairs a 27.75–45.25 in height range with a 30 × 60 in work surface and under-three-second travel. Its fixed pneumatic assistance is calibrated for 100 lb total, including the surface and equipment.
With the standard laminate surface, plan for approximately 40 lb of monitors, computer, arms, and accessories. This operating guidance determines how the desk feels while moving. The steel frame’s separate structural load capacity is 300 lb.
