Assembled in Grand Rapids
Klöud, Nimbus, Lüften, Ändern, and Möbel are hand assembled in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Our support team works in the same building. Recken and Ändern Electric are our powered alternatives; the Grand Rapids assembly claim does not apply to those two models.
Grand Rapids has made furniture for well over a century. That gives us access to experienced furniture workers and nearby suppliers.
How we back the desk
- A 30-day trial. Use the desk for 30 days from delivery. Keep the original packaging, which is required for a return. We cover return shipping and charge no restocking fee. See the trial terms.
- A five-year limited warranty. Contact us for coverage details for your model and intended use.
- Support in Grand Rapids. Talk with our team before or after purchase.
The idea
Our pneumatic collection adjusts without a motor, power cord, or wall connection. On Klöud, Nimbus, Lüften, and Ändern, pull the handle and guide the surface to the height you want. Möbel uses an always-active Hydro Lift and has no handle.
For powered adjustment, explore Recken or Ändern Electric.
How the lift works
Klöud lets you tune lift assistance for the combined weight of the work surface and equipment, then retune it when your setup changes. Nimbus, Lüften, and Ändern have fixed lift settings. Choose the model and surface around the equipment you use.
Klöud, Nimbus, and Lüften use synchronized dual columns. Ändern has a single column. Compare lift settings, footprints, and equipment allowances.
Tested to ANSI/BIFMA X5.5
Klöud, Nimbus, Lüften, and Ändern have been tested to ANSI/BIFMA X5.5, the North American standard for desk products. It evaluates structural strength and stability under repeated use. This testing claim does not extend to Möbel, Recken, or Ändern Electric.
A deliberately small catalog
We make a handful of desks rather than a wall of options. Each one is aimed at a different kind of setup: equipment-heavy workstations, streamlined single-monitor desks, mobile arrangements that get rolled around, and compact spaces where a full-size desk will not fit.
A short catalog makes it easier to answer the only question that matters when you are buying: which one fits what you actually do. If you tell us what you are putting on the desk, we will tell you which model suits it, including when that is the less expensive one.
